Winzip Security Hole Found

A new exploit for winzip has been found, users are recommended to upgrade to the latest version. Most users trust getting zip files and images via email, even if they are distrustful of everything else, but the vulnerabilities in winzip mean that any zip file sent as an attachment could compromise your pc, even if the contents of the zip file are inocuous enough.

Users are recommended to ensure their anti-virus software is up-to-date, and to upgrade their version of winzip to the latest available.
